You’ll be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. We’ll expect you to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design and visual design skills, while contributing to high-level strategic decisions with product and executive partners.Join a broad group of thinkers and do some of the most meaningful work of your career.This posting represents different full-time roles across the Meta company.
Product Designer, Human Interface Responsibilities:
  • Work independently to complete projects at the level of whole features within a well scoped domain.
  • Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for our supported platforms.
  • Design new experiences or layouts that evolve or define visual systems.
  • Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years designing software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
  • Utilizes research and data to inform product strategy
  • Demonstrates strategic product thinking and effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools and building low-fidelity mock ups

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing products for virtual, augmented, or mixed reality technologies
  • Familiarity working with cross-functional stakeholders such as User Research, Engineering, and Product Management
  • Basic understanding of prototyping 3D interactions or interfaces using Unity or similar tools
  • Exposure to novel user inputs such as hand or eye tracking
  • Experience contributing to the design of products for developers and/or creators
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
