AspectEntry Level Medical Spa RnMedical Aesthetic Nurse
CertificationsRN license, basic aesthetic trainingRN license, specialized aesthetic certifications
Work EnvironmentMedical spas, clinicsMedical spas, dermatology clinics
Job ResponsibilitiesAssisting with treatments, patient carePerforming aesthetic procedures, patient consultations

Both roles require an RN license and involve working in medical spa settings. The main difference is that Medical Aesthetic Nurses typically have additional aesthetic certifications and perform more advanced procedures, while Entry Level Medical Spa Rns focus on assisting and gaining experience in aesthetic treatments.

How to get a job as an entry level medical spa RN with no experience?

To become an entry-level medical spa RN with no experience, obtain a valid nursing license and consider completing specialized training or certifications in aesthetic procedures. Gaining experience through internships, volunteering, or assisting experienced RNs can also improve your chances, along with developing skills in patient care and cosmetic treatments. Employers often value a strong foundation in nursing and a willingness to learn new techniques.

Can you work at a medical spa as an RN?

Yes, registered nurses (RNs) can work at medical spas, typically providing patient care, assisting with cosmetic procedures, and ensuring safety protocols. Licensing requirements vary by state, and additional certifications in aesthetic or cosmetic procedures may be beneficial.

What are some common challenges faced by entry level medical spa RNs when transitioning from traditional clinical settings?

Entry Level Medical Spa RNs often find the transition from hospitals or clinics to a med spa environment challenging due to differences in patient expectations and procedures. Unlike acute care, med spa clients typically seek elective, aesthetic treatments and expect a high level of customer service alongside clinical expertise. Adapting to a fast-paced, client-focused setting, mastering new cosmetic technologies, and staying updated on regulations are key challenges. New RNs must also learn to collaborate closely with aestheticians and administrative staff to create a seamless experience for clients.

What is an entry level medical spa RN?

An Entry Level Medical Spa RN is a registered nurse who works in a medical spa setting, providing aesthetic and cosmetic treatments under the supervision of a physician. They are responsible for performing procedures such as injectables, laser treatments, and skin care services, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role is ideal for nurses who are new to the aesthetics field and are looking to gain experience in non-traditional healthcare environments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level medical spa RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level Medical Spa RN, you need a current RN license, basic clinical nursing skills, and knowledge of cosmetic and dermatological procedures. Familiarity with laser technology, injectables, skin analysis systems, and relevant certifications such as BLS or aesthetics training is typically required. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude help build trust and ensure client satisfaction. These skills are crucial for delivering safe, effective treatments and maintaining high standards of care in a client-centered environment.

Job description

Medical Aesthetician | Clinic Sales Manager

Lead with Precision, Drive Results

About Us

At American Laser Med Spa, we provide “Confidence & Convenience” through the empowerment of transformation with precision and excellence! We have been a leader in the medical aesthetics industry for 18 years, with 5 locations in Texas where we offer results-driven, medical-grade aesthetic treatments such as Laser Hair Removal, CoolSculpting, Mesopen, and Ultrasonic Facials.

We’re scaling rapidly and seek a Clinic Sales Manager to drive sales, lead a small team, and optimize operations with unmatched precision. If you are a competitive, results-oriented individual that would like the opportunity to take ownership and have a key role in a company’s expansion- this is your chance!

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve minimum of $30k/month sales through strategic consultations and upselling.
  • Perform Laser Hair Removal, CoolSculpting and all other procedures with technical precision.
  • Enforce protocols, streamline operations, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Train and manage 1–2 LHR Technicians for upselling and service excellence.
  • Support marketing to boost leads and visibility.

What We Offer

  • $18/hour base + commission
  • Full-time, 80 hours biweekly (Tuesday–Friday with alternating Mondays & Saturdays)
  • Benefits: 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, performance-based incentives, and deep employee discounts on all services after 90 days of employment.
  • Free medical aesthetic training and ongoing support in a results-driven culture.

Who SHOULD Apply?

  • Proven Closer: 2+ years in High Sales position, exceeding $30k/month sales.
  • Skilled Aesthetician: Expert in Laser Hair Removal and CoolSculpting.
  • Structured Leader: Thrives in protocol-driven, high-accountability settings.
  • Self-Starter: Aligns with leadership, committed to integrity.

Who Should NOT Apply?

  • If you avoid sales quotas or feel like sales approaches are “pushy”.
  • If your only sales experience is retail/cashier/cosmetic based.
  • If you are not comfortable working closely with client’s bodies in a medical manner, you won’t succeed here.
  • If you prefer unstructured, low-pressure roles or you need excessive emotional support, this isn’t for you.
  • If you do not meet the minimum sales experience requirements, please do not apply. This is not an entry-level esthetician position.

Apply Now - If you want to be in control of your income, career growth & success!
