Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices.
  • Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
  • Develop prototypes and support product verification and validation testing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
  • Conduct design reviews and implement design improvements.
  • Support Design Transfer activities from R&D to manufacturing.
  • Analyze product failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and applicable international standards.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and CAPA activities.
  • Support supplier qualification and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Prepare engineering reports, test protocols, and technical documentation.
