Position Overview
The Automotive Technician / Mechanic performs customer-requested maintenance and repairs with accuracy, efficiency, and strong quality control. You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure vehicles are returned to customers in safe, reliable condition.
This position offers excellent opportunities for career advancement, including pathways to become a Master Technician or move into shop leadership roles with continued training and experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and models
  • Conduct services such as brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and HVAC
  • Execute high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately while following company procedures
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Mentor and assist less experienced technicians as needed
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
  • Follow company policies and manufacturer guidelines for all work performed
Schedule
  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday, with availability for occasional weekends as needed
  • Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday 8:00am to 3:00pm 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional automotive shop environment
  • At least 1 ASE certification preferred (not required)
  • Section 609 EPA Certification for automotive HVAC (required or must obtain within 6 months)
  • Comfortable using modern diagnostic tools and repair equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Must provide personal hand and specialty tools
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to learning
  • Reliable transportation to commute to Laredo, TX
