Job description

Lube Mechanic / Quick Lube or Prep Technician

To support our continued growth, the Mills Automotive Group has a need to add several Quick Lane / Express Service Technicians to our growing team located at Classic Ford of Columbia. This position pays up to  $20.00 per hour. Ideal candidates MUST HAVE basic automotive background and adequate tools to perform light service on vehicles. Quick Lane or express service experience at an independent or dealer is desirable. DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.

What You Do:

  • Conduct basic maintenance and filter services on Ford / Lincoln vehicles
  • Oil and filter services
  • Tire rotations, balancing, tire replacements and tire repairs
  • Battery testing and replacement
  • Inspect vehicles for needs and service needs using multi-point inspections and test tools
  • Document and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer system
  • Complete and attend manufacturer training as required

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player
  • Trainable. This is an entry level position. We will train the right candidates regardless of experience level
