Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate power press machines and related production equipment including mechanical and pneumatic kick presses
  • Load raw material and unload finished parts from machines
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure safe operation and consistent product quality
  • Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections using gauges and basic measuring tools
  • Record production counts and complete in-process checks per work instructions
  • Stop production and notify supervision if quality or machine issues arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
  • Assist with general factory duties including packing, sorting, and material handling as needed
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience operating power presses or similar machinery is a plus
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Basic math skills for counting parts and recording production data
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Physical Examination by an appointed Lee Spring Doctor
  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
