Job description

Entry Level Digital Engineering (DE) Process Engineer
Company:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Entry Level Digital Engineering (DE) Process Engineer to support the Air Dominance Digital Engineering team located in Berkeley, MO.
The selected candidate will work with a team of Systems Engineers, Design Engineers, Process Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to support a proprietary BDS Air Dominance program in maturing a next-generation Digital Engineering (DE) & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Engineering and Manufacturing. This system is the foundation of our digital transformation and the future of advanced Engineering and Manufacturing capabilities, including Model-Based Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, and Cross-Discipline Collaboration.
Your primary assignment will be to provide technical process and application support for an Air Dominance proprietary program's digital engineering team. This includes supporting multiple Engineering disciplines' use of the Product Data Management (PDM) system - Siemens Teamcenter, and integrated Siemens applications such as NX and Teamcenter Visualization as well as Boeing custom Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement applications.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Program Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues using Teamcenter and related engineering, analysis, modeling & simulation, and manufacturing applications.
  • Design, develop, test, and support rollout of new DE/PLM tool capabilities, oversee tool and data transitions, and manage data migrations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and ensure consistent digital data and model management practices.
  • Analyze engineering data across systems to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and improve data integrity.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely engineering data delivery to suppliers and customers.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels, including suppliers and customers.
  • Operate independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim/Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment including engineering, manufacturing/operations, quality, product support, finance, business development and program management
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
