Position: 5-8 Math Interventionist
FLSA Status: Exempt / Employment Type: Full Time / Reports To: Academy Principal
Minimum Experience: Entry Level
Purpose:
Provide effective 5-8 intervention level instruction in Math for pupils as well as manage the materials and resources used for educating them. The educator is responsible for managing student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment.
Education & Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Meet applicable State certification and licensure requirements, including any requirements for certification obtained through alternative routes to certification requirements as defined by the Michigan State Board of Education. Except as otherwise provided by law, the Academy shall use certificated teachers according to state board rules.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check required
Tasks:
A GEE teacher skillfully demonstrates:
