Job description

Experienced Field Erector (Iron Worker) - Hiring Now!
We're looking for an experienced Field Erector/Iron Worker to install structural and miscellaneous steel, stairs, railings, and more, on commercial job sites across the DMV. If you're familiar with steel and heights, we want to hear from you.
Locations: Commercial construction sites - DC, MD & VA. Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Competitive pay: $24-$30/hr
What You'll Do:
  • Install & weld structural steel, stairs, and railings
  • Work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolds & lifts
  • Measure, align, and bolt steel components
  • Clean, maintain tools & tidy up the job site
  • Assist with welding, grinding, painting, and more
What We're Looking For:
  • Field erection experience required - not a training position
  • Must speak English (for crew communication and safety)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Welding certification is a plus, but not required
  • Must be comfortable using a tape measure and doing basic math
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass background and drug screening
