Machine Tool Maintenance 1
As the largest machine tool builder in the western world, we need world-class talent in all of our departments. And we're not just looking for people for the production floor. Haas is a very vertically integrated company, with a wide range of high-tech career opportunities available.

This is an entry-level position that requires basic knowledge of machine tools. Responsible for handling oil changes and minor duties in preventive maintenance. Will perform routine repair in the factory and assist Machine Tool Maintenance 2.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understands/Adheres to safety requirements within the department and company.
- Works with Maintenance Coordinator and SAP work order list.
- Must leave machines clean and completely assembled at the end of each job. Do not leave any covers or filters off the machine.
- Operates and maintains the coolant support equipment. This includes De-ionized water system, coolant mixing unit, waste water recycling and system oil recycling equipment.
- Keeps equipment area clean and organized.
- Locates, maintains and organizes CNC machine manuals.
- Assist in the installation of CNC machines; this includes layout, coring and installing anchors.
- Uses and understand the proper measuring devices.
- Uses refractometer and know the proper percentage of coolant and how to adjust,change filters, oil, and any minor repairs pertaining to preventive maintenance program.
- Performs routine repairs on CNC machines and supporting equipment.
- Identifies potential problems on CNC machines and other equipment.
- Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
• Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
• Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.
