Overview

The Project Controls Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. This position works closely with Project Managers and the finance team to track project performance, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
    • Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Financial Management:
    • Track and analyze project costs, revenue, and forecasts.
    • Manage change orders and contract modifications.
    • Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate regular projects and key performance indicators.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support financial closeout processes.
  • ERP and Systems:
    • Utilize ERP systems to manage project data and workflows.
    • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project success.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.
