Shift Time: 12:30PM - 8:30PM
Reports to: Quality Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, full-time hourly

Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector ensures that products and materials meet company and customer standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves inspecting products, conducting measurements, and collaborating with production teams to maintain quality control.
Qualifications & Competencies:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Strong understanding of basic math, measurement, and statistical concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret quality standards and documentation.
• Experience following quality procedures and legal/customer requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn IQS software.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
• Inspect in-process production using visual and measurement tests, ensuring specifications are met.
• Perform first-piece sign-offs, spot audits, and final inspections.
• Review customer quality requirements, including drawings, inspections, and reports.
• Maintain and file retained production samples.
• Conduct layered process audits, manufacturing process audits, and quality management system (QMS) audits.
• Assist with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for automotive customers.
• Support additional quality-related tasks as assigned.
The physical requirements of this role include:
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally stand, walk, climb, kneel, and crouch.
• Lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
• Must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception.
