Position    : Material Handler (Entry level, would like some MFG exp or warehouse)

Location                       : Cleveland, OH

Duration                       : 12 Months contract

Total Hours/week        : 40.00

1st Shift

1st Shift 7am-3:30pm

Must haves on the resumes:

  • Some warehouse experience is really the main must-have. Forklift qualified helpful, but not required
  • Visually inspect and assemble components into a completed container system according to approved ISO 9001, ISO 13485 Quality System Requirements, Medical Device Directive, 21CFRpart820 Quality System Regulations (FDA), Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and established standard operating procedures.
  • The incumbent will assist in the development of manufacturing process improvements and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the quality of the product throughout the manufacturing process in accordance with the Food and Drug Administration\'s Medical Device Quality System Regulations, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 Quality System Requirements.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of all packing and shipping methods. Package orders accurately and completely according to established schedules.
  • Inform Quality Management of any discrepancies in the manufacturing process, including material quality, process routers, drawings and parts list.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of the engraving process and procedure.
  • Manual dexterity and skill level of working with hand tools is a requirement.
  • Good work history
  • Position requires a limited understanding of the computer keyboard.
Experience Required

Nature and Scope:

  • This position requires a complete knowledge of all container assembly and engraving processes, as well as a basic understanding of packaging and shipping. 
  • This position requires an understanding of the quality system and will maintain a close working relationship with Quality Management.
  • The ability to work with tools and good manual dexterity are requirements for this position, as well as taking the initiative and direction to work on the assembly team.
  • The position requires the ability to accurately engrave all orders processed in a timely fashion, while assisting in the various components of the assembly process. A limited knowledge of keyboard operation is required.
Skills & Certifications
  • Capable of reading the English language to acquire a complete understanding of Corporate, Divisional and Facility Standard Operating Procedures.
