Wealth Management Analyst I

Position Overview

The Wealth Management Analyst I is an entry-level role designed to build a broad foundation across Maslow's advisory, operations, and investment functions. This position serves as a shared resource for the firm, supporting the day-to-day work required to deliver a highly organized, responsive, and integrated client experience.

The role is intentionally developmental. The Analyst I will learn Maslow's core systems, including Wealthbox, Black Diamond, Charles Schwab Advisor Services, and other planning, reporting, and operational tools. Over time, the Analyst I will gain exposure to client onboarding, account administration, meeting preparation, portfolio reporting, workflow management, investment operations, and the firm's broader Hierarchy of Wealth framework.

This is a fit for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, technologically capable, and comfortable working across multiple teams. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, following through on details, and building fluency in the systems and processes that make excellent client service possible.

Key Responsibilities

Client Operations and Account Administration

  • Manage client account lifecycle - onboarding, maintenance, transfers, and documentation
  • Handle client service requests and coordinate with custodians to resolve account issues
  • Maintain accurate records and keep workflows on track for timely completion

Advisory Team Support

  • Support meeting preparation, including data gathering, materials updates, and follow-up coordination
  • Maintain client information and help create client-facing materials like summaries, reviews, and planning exhibits
  • Track follow-up items across advisors and internal stakeholders while building familiarity with the firm's client service model

Investment and Reporting Support

  • Assist with portfolio reporting and data reconciliation, including identifying discrepancies across systems
  • Help maintain investment files, reports, manager materials, and related documentation
  • Provide project support to advisory, operations, or investment teams as needed

Systems and Process Support

  • Learn and use Maslow's core technology platforms with increasing independence
  • Help maintain clean data across Wealthbox, Black Diamond, Schwab, and other systems
  • Follow documented procedures and suggest improvements when workflows are unclear or inefficient
  • Support the firm's centralized service model by helping the right work get to the right person at the right time

Qualifications

  • Growth mindset both personally and professionally
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in finance, business, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Prior experience in financial services, client service, operations, or administrative support is helpful but not required
  • Comfortable leveraging multiple AI systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new technology systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong interest in wealth management, financial planning, investment management, or RIA operations
