What are your contributions to the team?
  • Conduct preliminary white visual inspection for damage to components
  • Perform and assist in performing Non Destructive Inspections (NDI) including Fluorescent Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Eddy Current (ET), Ultrasonic (UT), and/or Radiographic (RT) as well as other inspection methods at on-site and off-site locations including AOG/Unplanned Maintenance
  • Work under the supervision of Level 2 towards obtaining qualification in applicable inspection methods
  • Assist in performing daily and weekly quality assurance test using applicable tools (Refractometer, Hydrometer, Hall-effect Gauss Meter, etc.)
  • Check and verify part and serial numbers to determine part configuration
  • Assist with completing engineering and quality assurance forms as required
  • Ability to operate and interpret precision tools, equipment, machines and test equipment
  • Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in 5-S activities.
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
How to thrive in this role?
  • Currently enrolled in a program to obtain an NAS 410 certification in (NDI) including Fluorescent Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Eddy Current (ET), Ultrasonic (UT), and Radiographic (RT) or previous experience as a NAS 410 level II in 2 or more NDI methods
  • Must meet near vision and color vision requirements for NAS 410 in PT, MT, ET, UT and RT
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals
