Position Overview:

TEAM is seeking an entry level person, that has a mechanical aptitude, a good grasp of math, to be safety-focused, keen to train and learn with a strong work ethic to continue a focused career within the service line Field Machinist, will be provided continuous training, will assist and perform machining work scopes within the service level qualification assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.

· Responsible for the setting up and operation of a wide variety of portable machine tools to perform on-site machine work on location at client work sites.

· The primary role is responsible for executing field machining operations in accordance with the technician certification following company processes and procedures, achieve or exceed quality expectations for:

o Pipe cutting and bevel

o Flange facing

o Drilling and tapping

o Milling

o Line boring

o Key-way cutting

o Shaft turning

o Metal disintegration bolt removal

· Attend and complete the required training to maintain competence and to continuously improve their skills and levels of competence and knowledge.

· Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.

· Documents all field machining service activities as required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.

· Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a standard, refinery or plant environment to include the ability to access elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells except when performing non-field duties.

· Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to communicate effectively.

· Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to investigations.

· Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine office duties.

· Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.

· Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills.

Work Conditions

· Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.

· Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.

· Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel.

· Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.

· Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

· May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.

· May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

Job Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Technical school, Industry or relevant training preferred

· One or more years of experience is preferred.

· Driving License, TWIC Card, preferred.
