POSITION SUMMARY

Sets up and operates production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

Hours: M-F, 2:00 P.M.-10:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate entry-level skills to setup and operate machine tools.
  • Interpret standardized work instructions, basic part prints and/or technical drawings.
  • Apply a working knowledge of basic measuring and inspection tools and use appropriate measuring devises to confirm a part’s compliance to required specifications.
  • Preform conversion, computations, and calculations that result in parts production to specific specifications.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of general shop safety, and machine tool safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $22.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs..

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
