Great opportunity at local top workplace for someone looking for an entry level general labor/machine operator role in a flexible, manufacturing environment. Full time, direct hire, complete benefits package with both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available ($2/hour shift premium for 2nd shift).


Willing to train individuals without direct manufacturing experience but who are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with their hands, and seeing things created! People with experience in the technical trades from different industries, light assembly, or individuals with mechanical background/aptitudes are a great fit for this position. General Responsibilities:

  • Performing production operations using a variety of manufacturing equipment producing
  • Position will progress into learning set-up & troubleshooting operations
  • Efficiently completing all assigned work to meet or exceed expected productivity or production rates
  • Complete all part/quality inspection processes as needed (may be dimensional or visual inspections)
  • Assist in parts packing/shipping and other secondary operations as needed for production/customer demand


Starting pay will be based on prior manufacturing, or trades related experience

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Mechanically inclined, & enjoys hands on work
  • Solid work ethic, & team player
  • Strong attention to detail, quality minded
  • Comfortable performing some work of a repetitive nature
  • Some prior manufacturing experience preferred, but will consider individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in the trades
  • Any prior experience using calipers, micrometers, or other inspection equipment preferred but not necessarily required.
  • Able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs, handle regular repetitive movements required in operations or material/part handling
  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours per day and walk as needed throughout a shift
