This 2nd shift Mechanical Assembler role focuses on building solar panel power boxes and switchboards in the AC, DC, and wire departments. You work Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in a large, clean, and quiet manufacturing facility. After an initial training period on 1st shift, you join a team-oriented, non-automated assembly line, performing mechanical assembly, wiring, and wire spooling using hand and power tools.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a large, very clean, and quiet manufacturing facility with a manual, team-based assembly line. You work primarily on 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., following an initial training period on 1st shift. Teams are small, typically 4–6 people per team, with around 20 people on first shift and an additional shift currently being built up. The work involves manual labor, including lifting up to 40 pounds, wire spooling, and mechanical assembly using hand tools, air power tools, pneumatic tools, and torque wrenches. The facility uses fans for air circulation and is not temperature controlled. Dress code includes shirts with sleeves (short or long), full-length pants without holes, and steel toe boots. Safety glasses and gloves are supplied when needed. You may wear headphones with a single earbud during work, contributing to a relaxed yet safety-conscious environment.
