About The Job: The General Maintenance position is an entry-level role and is responsible for assisting with general tasks around the worksite. This role requires little to no prior experience and serves as an introduction to the industry. Under supervision, the helper may assist with minor preventative maintenance tasks and learn basic job functions.

The primary objective of this position is to assess the employee's potential for long-term development within the company. What You'll Do: Safety and Compliance - Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, and following MSHA/OSHA regulations. - Maintain a high level of situational awareness to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of yourself and others.

- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly. Equipment Maintenance - Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment to avoid unexpected breakdowns, which might involve small component changes, fluid changes, and/or minor tear-downs of equipment. - Perform housekeeping tasks such as removing debris, dust, and sediment from machines, especially in crushers and screening equipment.

- Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are available and in good condition before starting maintenance tasks. Assist and Collaborate on Work - Follow instructions and work plans to ensure efficient transportation to the correct destination. - Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials.Skills You'll Need: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: Experience in maintenance, preferably around heavy equipment and machines. Certifications/Licenses: Valid Driver's License. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Strong understanding of safety protocols and MSHA/OSHA regulations.

- Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work with others and manage time effectively. - Physical ability to climb up and down equipment and handle heavy loads.
