This is the entry level position. The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. Role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. The Machine Operator is also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.
Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Installer, aligner, demonter et deplacer, en respectant les plans et a l'aide d'outils manuels et electriques, de la machinerie industrielle fixe ou du materiel mecanique comme des pompes, des ventilateurs, des reservoirs, des convoyeurs, des chaudieres et des generateurs.

  • Inspecter et examiner la machinerie et le materiel pour en deceler les dereglements et les defaillances.

  • Assurer la conformite aux normes de securite de l'entreprise et de l'usine, ainsi qu'aux lois et reglements applicables emis par les organismes de reglementation.

  • Operer des machines de moulage par soufflage pour assurer la production de bouteilles de qualite et effectuer des audits pour controler les poids et la qualite. Les machines peuvent varier selon le site.

  • Adherer au controle de la qualite et a la procedure du procede de moulage par soufflage.

  • Depanner et effectuer des reparations mineures sur le moule de soufflage et l'equipement de soutien.

  • Faire des ajustements pour repondre aux specifications du produit.

  • Initiation a la maintenance preventive, moule, col et soufflage, ainsi qu'a d'autres modifications mecaniques.

  • Regranuler l'excedent de bouteilles et de materiel.

  • Introduction au depannage et a la resolution des problemes relies au procede.

  • Preparer les formulaires de demande de maintenance et documenter les reparations d'equipement.

  • Preparer et documenter les rapports de production quotidiens, y compris les rejets, le regranule, l'efficacite de la ligne, et autres.

  • Effectuer d'autres taches assignees par la direction.

  • Recevoir des instructions sur une tache de travail specifique de l'operateur principal ou du superviseur. Une assistance est fournie pour les problemes inhabituels et le travail est examine pour l'application d'un bon jugement professionnel.

Basic mathematical skills are required.

Basic computer experience.

EDUCATION:

Completion of Altium Machine Operator I training within 90 days of hire date.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
