Campers Inn RV is looking for an Entry Level RV Technician to join our team! We provide free basic tools yours to keep after 12 months of employment! No experience necessary! With our in-house technician training program, you will be learning valuable on the job skills right away! This role assists in the diagnosis, inspection, adjustments, and repairs for recreational vehicles including travel trailers.

  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • Assist in inspecting and testing for defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions
  • Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to fit unit
  • Assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC components

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • License & Certifications:
    • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record is required
  • Experience:
    • No experience necessary
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
    • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
    • Ability to comply with OSHA regulations regarding Protective Clothing and Equipment, such as goggles, gloves, etc
    • Ability to safely use solvents, and other chemicals
    • Ability to move RVs of various sizes
    • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
