Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our service department as a Lube Tech. The Lube Tech is an entry level position with room to grow in either a full time or part time capacity. Applicants with a customer service interest will have the opportunity to become a Service Advisor, while those with a technical interest could become Technicians. Our Lube Techs service vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures, which includes rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level and a desire to work in a fast paced environment along with great social and customer service skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions, and must be able to pass a background check that includes driving record and a drug test. Our employees enjoy a balanced work week, and Sundays are always off. We offer a competitive starting wage and benefits are available for full time employees.

Responsibilities

  • Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required
  • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs, which includes rotating tires
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Performs other duties as required by management

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
