Job description

Interior Exterior Building Supply, the number one commercial and residential building material supplier in the Southeast, is searching for a Delivery Driver for our Insulation division in Athens, AL location!
Delivery Driver's for Interior Exterior complete shipments by loading, delivering and unloading orders at customer location. They coordinate scheduling of deliveries with assigned Manager and they accurately report driving time as required using ELD reporting system.
Job Duties

  • Prepares orders by pulling materials and loading trucks.
  • Completes deliveries to customers operating a 26' box truck, liftgate, pallet jack and use of manual lifting as needed to maneuver and unload materials.
  • Maintains truck preventive maintenance reporting requirements; reports maintenance needs to assigned Manager.
  • Maintains cleanliness of trucks and equipment.
  • Accurately records driving time as required using ELD reporting system.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Completes reports by entering required information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
