Job Description

The Industry Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (ICATT) is a network of high-tech companies in need of ambitious and driven individuals looking to embark on an exciting career in Logistics. As an apprentice, you receive on-the-job training in, while pursuing an all-expenses-paid Associates of Applied Science Degree.

In this apprenticeship, the Warehouse Logistics Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, materials, and information within Arvato's warehouse and distribution operations. You will support a wide range of functions across the warehouse from coordinating shipments to optimizing warehouse layouts and overseeing quality control.

  • Track and manage inventory using computerized systems and scanning tools
  • Organize storage areas for maximum space utilization and efficiency
  • Coordinate the movement of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Ensure products are handled, packaged, and shipped safely and on schedule
  • Operate automated and mechanical equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, and materialhandling systems
  • Follow safety protocols and perform routine quality checks
  • Troubleshoot issues related to shipments, inventory discrepancies, or equipment performance
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED - recent High School graduates welcome
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Meet placement requirements for Southwest Community and Technical College 
  • Veterans are welcome ( ICATT is G.I. Bill certified)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to and from work/school
