As a trading consultant, IM Global LLC helps businesses navigate global markets and optimize their supply chains. Team members collaborate in a dynamic, globally focused environment where accuracy, efficiency, and customer service are key to success.

Role Description The Entry-level Logistics Coordinator (Bilingual in Mandarin) is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamaica, NY. This role is responsible for coordinating daily shipment activities, including booking freight, preparing documentation, and tracking cargo status from origin to destination. The Logistics Coordinator communicates with carriers, vendors, and clients in both English and Mandarin to confirm schedules, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery. Typical tasks include data entry into logistics systems, maintaining accurate records, supporting import/export compliance processes, and responding to customer inquiries. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to improve workflow efficiency and support overall operational performance.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly in both English and Mandarin, including reading, writing, and speaking for business purposes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail when handling documents and shipment data.
  • Basic knowledge or interest in logistics, supply chain, or international trade, with a willingness to learn industry practices.
  • Competence in using office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and learning logistics or ERP systems.
  • Customer service mindset, with problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work on-site in Jamaica, NY, in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a diverse team.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred; relevant work or internship experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic import/export documentation and regulations is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.


Schedule: five days a week with weekend availinility


Salarly Range: 50-55k per year
