  • This is an entry-level position focused on learning to set up and operate various equipment used in performing machining operations such as drilling, tapping, milling, broaching, tap removal and grinding on a variety of materials.
Our Manual Machine Operators (MMO)
  • Receive instruction and work assignments from Process Supervisor or Self-Directed Work Team.
  • Handle material to and from work area, using jib or overhead cranes or other material handling equipment, as required.
  • Refer to work instructions, sketches, manuals, books, charts, military specifications and process sheets.
  • Perform checks and/or adjustments to processes as required to maintain tolerance.
  • Perform deburring operations with an assortment of tools.
  • Perform checks on equipment to maintain efficient and safe operations and report any deficiencies.
  • Keep work areas safe and clean.
  • This role could develop into a full scope MMO as the necessary skill development is sufficiently demonstrated.
