Job Title: Field Service Technician I – Phoenix, AZ.
As a Field Service Technician, you will; Represent the NCR Atleos brand by being the first line of response on-site at our customers’ locations. Problem-solve at a basic module level (FRU), organize and plan your time effectively, and know when and to whom to escalate issues to. Apply the knowledge that you learn during your on-the-job training to resolve task related problems in straightforward situations emphasizing on manual skills. Most importantly, you will be responsible for providing consistent and clear communication using our service app to maintain customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do as a Field Service Technician I:
Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs. You will learn this on Day 1.
Complete NCR Atleos specific Trainings and Certifications on our training website.
Diagnose problems based on the error logs from the ATM and information provided from our service app using a company provided cell phone.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.
Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of updates and details of the work performed at the ATM, including call closure details.
Maintain parts inventory and related records.
Accurately reporting hours worked and miles driven daily.

Basic Qualifications:
Must reside in the specified geographic area.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company requirements.
Access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
Familiarity and ability to use and operate an Android cell phone (company provided).
Ability to perform essential functions of the job which include:
Prolonged travel during several hours of the workday, which includes inclement weather.
Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size.
This role requires proof of the following minimum insurance coverage.
Bodily Injury Liability: Minimum $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.
Property Damage Liability: Minimum of $100,000 per accident.
Your offer of employment is contingent on you providing proof and maintaining the minimally required insurance, and failure to do so may result in the revocation of your employment offer or in the termination of your employment.

Required Availability, Experience, and Skillset:
  • You may be dispatched daily on a call-by-call basis or have a daily schedule.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, and or flex shifts.
  • Must be able to safely work outside during all seasons with potential exposure to the elements.
  • Must have a high level of personal integrity and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Must have Basic Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, skillset, and knowledge.
  • Must have good problem-solving skills, be able to pick up new skills quickly, and work well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • An associate degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment is preferred.
