Our Lab Techs strictly adhere to laboratory SOPs to ensure quality and safety and often communicate with our customers via email. They understand our customers’ needs with empathy and know that everything they do is making a difference.
This position may require the candidate to work overtime occasional and prolonged periods of standing.

They understand the big picture, while paying attention to the details. We even have a dedicated training program to ensure our Lab Techs are set up for success.
Responsbilities:
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Strictly follows SOPs and site trainer’s direction in training, sample handling, project processing, and documentation.
- Maintains the cleanliness of work area.
- Sort incoming samples.
- Prepare sequencing template, including preparation, amplification and PCR purification.
- Labware washing, biohazardous/hazardous waste collection and packaging.
- Communicate with customers and other departments by email/phone in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in purifying sequencing templates and load samples onto sequencing machines.
- May need to work with automation platforms.
- May require working overtime, and/or weekends. Alternative shifts with advanced notice.

What you will need
- High School Diploma required
- AAS Degree or equivalent lab work experience preferred
- 1+ years of lab work experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
