Summary

AGAT Laboratories is currently looking for an entry-level Laboratory Technician C to join our lab working out of our Vancouver, BC facility. This position is given direction from the Laboratory Supervisor and assists with administrative and basic laboratory services.
What you will be doing:

  • Perform standard laboratory procedures, including the preparation of samples, reagents, and calibration solutions.
  • Calibrate, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot intermediate-level instrumentation
  • Compile, verify, and validate data with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with turnaround time expectations and quality assurance protocols.
  • Perform general lab support tasks such as washing glassware, cleaning workstations, and managing waste disposal.
  • Adhere to all Quality Control procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately report analytical results and document work clearly.
  • Carry out additional lab duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Post-secondary education in a science-related field; Technical Diploma or B.Sc. preferred.
  • Prior experience troubleshooting lab instruments is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet lab goals.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment.

Pay Range: $21-$24/hour
