Job Description
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by department need. This position may close early if the hiring need is filled or do to volume of applications received.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for lab operations of scheduled and open Welding Technologies Labs.
  • Support instructors and students with the operation of specialized equipment during labs.
  • Technician will perform maintenance on specialized lab equipment.
  • Technician will assist to ensure that labs are prepared and have proper inventories for classes.
  • Technician will assist the instructor plan an prepare labs in conjunction with full time faculty.

Required qualifications
  • Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot SMAW,FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and PAC machines.
  • Proficient with an Oxy-fuel system and the tools related to the Welding industry
  • Experience verifying proper equipment operation and performing equipment maintenance

Preferred qualifications
  • AAS Degree in Welding Technologies and significant work experience

Salary Information:
$15.00 hourly
Tentative Schedule: Monday - Friday work times vary between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
