Location: Valparaiso, IN | Full-Time | John Deere Dealership

@ What You'll Be Doing
  • Diagnose and repair John Deere lawn & garden equipment (tractors, zero-turns, gators, compact utility tractors) - plus other brands sold at our dealership.
  • Perform small engine diagnostics and maintenance to keep outdoor power equipment performing at its best.
  • Participate in John Deere University training and dealer-led programs to keep your skills sharp.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with ongoing training and manufacturer certifications- training is the seed of growth.
  • Keep vehicles, tools, and equipment in top shape while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete work orders, track materials, and account for billable time with accuracy.

  • Strong grasp of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with John Deere Service ADVISORโ„ข or other diagnostic tools a plus.
  • Team player who values quality workmanship.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs, adapt to shop and outdoor work, and follow all safety standards.
  • High school diploma required; technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required; forklift license a plus.
  • Must have own tools to perform repairs.
