We provide transformer supply, installation, maintenance, repair, oil processing, FR3 retrofills, and rigging services to federal agencies, investor-owned utilities, and large corporations nationwide. ABOUT THE ROLE

NTS is looking for an entry-level Assistant Project Manager to support our Senior Project Manager with the administration and coordination of transformer installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service projects. This role is primarily administrative and coordination-focused, with regular travel to active job sites. It's a true growth-track position: NTS provides structured, hands-on training with a defined path toward advancement to Project Manager within our Transformer Commissioning & Service Division.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

โ€ข Maintain project files, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders

โ€ข Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables

โ€ข Coordinate travel, lodging, and logistics for field crews and technicians

โ€ข Support scheduling of subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries

โ€ข Travel to job sites to provide on-site administrative support

โ€ข Help maintain compliance documentation and closeout packages

โ€ข Shadow the Senior Project Manager to build toward future PM responsibility

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

โ€ข High school diploma required; degree in construction management, business, or related field a plus

โ€ข 0โ€“2 years in an administrative, coordination, or field services support role โ€” recent grads welcome

โ€ข Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25โ€“50% of the time

โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software
