Job description

Position Summary:

Vali, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Proposal Coordinator to grow with our proposal team. This role is best suited for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in learning the federal proposal process and supporting the development of competitive proposals for government customers. This position will work directly with the Senior Proposal Manager to assist with proposal planning, scheduling, document management, and submission activities. Training will be provided to help the individual develop the skills needed to support and eventually lead increasingly complex proposal efforts. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support proposal coordination efforts for federal opportunities.
  • Work with the senior proposal manager, leadership team, project managers, and other departments to prepare and submit proposals
  • Support the full proposal process, from opportunity tracking and kickoff meetings through final submission
  • Edit and proofread proposal materials for clarity and consistency
  • Maintain proposal libraries, past performance records, and compliance documentation
  • Gain experience with federal contracting processes and requirements
  • Perform other duties as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field; no prior professional experience required
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and willingness to learn proposal tools
  • Collaborative personality with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to perform tasks with limited supervision
  • Interest in federal contracting

Fully remote (located in Huntsville, AL or surrounding area is preferred)
