We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Music Therapist to join our team in Bridgeton, NJ. As a Hospice Music Therapist with Autumn Lake Careers, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
About the Role:
As a Hospice Music Therapist, you will provide music therapy services to patients in our hospice care program. You will use music to promote emotional and physical well-being, alleviate symptoms, and improve quality of life. This is a per diem position with varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans for patients in our hospice care program
  • Conduct music therapy sessions, including singing, playing instruments, and listening to music
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on the benefits and uses of music therapy

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Music Therapist (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or related field
  • Certification as a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
