Job description

Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire an entry level Driveline Technician at our Columbia, Missouri location. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00. We provide all tools and training needed for this position. With over 80 years of business and 37 locations, we have a strong commitment to developing employees to their fullest potential, ensuring that our customers get the best possible service. Our facilities are updated, clean, and stocked with everything you’ll need for this position.

We are looking for an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. While experience isn’t necessary, we would love to speak with you if you enjoy a garage type work environment, have mechanical ability, use hand tools, and:

· Have prior experience in any of the following: hydraulic press, rotary grinder, MIG welder, or acetylene torch

· Would enjoy operating equipment such as: forklift, hand air tools, overhead crane, cabinet parts washer/shaker

· Have mechanical aptitude / knowledge

· Have a desire to do the job right without taking shortcuts

· Want to be a part of a team that encourages core values of respect, honesty, and integrity

Competitive pay and excellent benefits. Starting pay for this entry level position is between $22.00-25.00 an hour, depending on experience. We will train the right candidate and provide all tools needed for the position. Post-offer testing required, including drug screen. Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain alert and attentive to job duties. You must be able to bend, stoop, twist, carry, push, pull, reach & lift overhead, and go up/down steps.
