WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a IT Network/Telecom Analyst (IT Infrastructure Consultant) in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Green Bay, Wisconsin or Chicago, Illinois locations. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time regularly spent in the office.

This position is part of a job family (Associate IT Infrastructure Consultant, IT Infrastructure Consultant, and Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant) where experience will be the determining factor.

Job Summary

Our IT Network/Telecom Analysts are accountable for the design, construction, and operation of WEC's data and telecommunications network environment connecting over 350 locations. The specific role determines the technologies managed as well as the percentage of time spent designing, constructing, and operating the environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain WEC’s data and telecommunications network
  • Collaborate with business partners and other IT Teams to deliver and maintain network-centric business-facing solutions
  • Develop and implement a multi-year strategic plan for each network and telecommunications pillar
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with strategic partners
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Willingness to travel within WEC Energy Group’s service territory based on project needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field
  • Experience with Cisco Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint Firewalls
  • Knowledge of Cisco ACI Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of VoIP Technologies
  • Network Certification(s)

End Date:

Pay Range Minimum: $68,436.68

Pay Range Maximum: $135,761.08

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
