IT Systems & Support Specialist - Project-Based - TORONTO

Job Type: Monday – Friday on a Hybrid work model (3 days onsite)
Duration: 2 months fixed term
Salary Range: 18-20$ per hour

Reporting To: IT Service Delivery Manager

Job purpose:

The IT Systems & Support Specialist Co-op will support Goway's IT team in delivering end-user technology services, device deployment initiatives, and Microsoft cloud migration projects. This role will primarily focus on laptop rollouts, user migrations from Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and the secure migration of user data, applications, and settings to modern cloud-based platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates, short-term contractors, or Co-op students who are also eligible to seek hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and Entra ID (Azure AD) while developing practical skills in endpoint management, IT service delivery, asset management, and technical support within a global enterprise environment.

What will be your key responsibilities

  • Support laptop deployment, device refresh initiatives, and user migrations to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Back up, migrate, and restore user data, profiles, applications, and settings using Microsoft 365 and OneDrive.
  • Assist with device enrollment, configuration, compliance, and security management through Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender.
  • Provide first-level IT support, including password resets, login assistance, ticket management, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist with IT asset management, inventory audits, data cleanup, and documentation updates.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while supporting end users during technology rollouts and day-to-day IT operations.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
