How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Diagnostic Imaging & Procedure Support: Assist in complex procedures and provide diagnostic aid by expertly conducting organ or body scans on patients.
  • Patient & Technical Setup: Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging, and select the correct anatomical and technical parameters for the procedure.
  • Procedure Monitoring & Safety: Closely observe patients during procedures, immediately reporting any abnormal activity, and strictly adhere to all radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Advanced & Interventional Imaging: Competently perform all specialized imaging procedures (e.g., angio, complex vascular) and interventional/therapeutic procedures, providing support to the Radiologist or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor imaging protocols, recommending updates as warranted, and ensure all activities fully comply with institutional and regulatory agency standards.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
  • IR or Cath Lab experience.
