Job description

RQ Construction is looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our growing Design team in are Carlsbad, CA office. If you're passionate about commercial interiors, enjoy collaborating with clients and project teams, and are eager to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll help develop creative, functional design solutions while supporting commercial and Department of Defense projects from concept through delivery.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $28.00-$32.00 an hour depending on experience

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (CIDA-accredited program preferred)
  • 1–2 years of commercial interior design experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Specific software literacy (Revit/Autodesk v2022 or higher, ACAD v2022 or higher; Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Navisworks) required but training is available
  • Rendering software experience on programs such as TwinMotion, Lumion or Equal required
  • Government or military project experience is a plus
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus
