Entry-Level Patient Records Specialist - Murray, UT (Full-Time)
Join a growing healthcare team and help ensure accurate, secure patient records that support quality care.
What you'll do:
โ€ข Maintain and update patient records within EHR systems
โ€ข Process medical records requests and documentation in a timely manner
โ€ข Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy
โ€ข Upload referrals, imaging reports, test results, and other clinical documentation
โ€ข Manage scanned documents, faxes, and incoming/outgoing correspondence
โ€ข Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely record management
โ€ข Support billing, insurance verification, and other administrative tasks as needed
What we're looking for:
โ€ข High School Diploma or GED
โ€ข Minimum 1 year of experience in medical records, health information, or a medical office setting
โ€ข Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record confidentiality
โ€ข Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
โ€ข Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred (AdvancedMD is a plus)
