Cherokee Insights is seeking a Junior Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The Junior Intelligence Analyst will assist the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Vetting Risk Operations (VRO) with the screening and vetting of covered foreign individuals and those seeking a DoD security clearance.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Junior Intelligence Analyst: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00. Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Conduct pattern, trend, and link analysis based on intelligence reporting, message traffic, and other data sources.

Collaborate with intelligence analysts, collectors, and investigators to enhance analysis and develop comprehensive intelligence products.

Gather and analyze business processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvements and increased efficiencies.

Stay up-to-date with IC agencies and organizations' missions, intelligence products, and database systems.

Utilize intelligence database systems to extract, analyze, and report relevant information.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on analytical findings.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to convey complex information to stakeholders.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of intelligence products.

Participate in intelligence briefings, meetings, and workshops as required.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of intelligence analyst experience; OR four (4) years of intelligence analyst experience

Graduate of a DoD or Intelligence Community-sponsored basic intelligence analyst training course, to include but not limited to Armed Forces enlisted or officer military intelligence training

Knowledge of and experience with IC agencies and organizations' missions, intelligence products, and database systems

Ability to perform pattern, trend, and link analysis based on analysis of intelligence reporting, message traffic, other data sources, and collaboration with other intelligence analysts, intelligence collectors, and investigators and capture and analyze business processes and procedures and make recommendations for efficiencies

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access

Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team setting

Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
