Job description

Owns critical, high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes that enable rapid device miniaturization and the mass production of integrated circuits.

Performs tests, measurements, and analysis to maintain process control, ensuring critical dimensions and defectivity targets are consistently met across the manufacturing line.

Identifies, recommends, and implements equipment and process improvements to enhance production efficiency, optimize manufacturing techniques, increase output, and achieve safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Drives the scaling of manufacturing capacity to high-volume production while supporting the successful transfer of technology to manufacturing sites worldwide.

Leads the execution of equipment maintenance and repair activities, ensuring operational reliability and performance.

Champions continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and processes, focusing on key performance indicators such as safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield. Collaborates with equipment suppliers as needed to achieve performance targets.

Owns process development activities aligned with high-volume manufacturing process nodes.

Supports technology transfer to global sites through training, audits, installation support, and qualification reviews to ensure process consistency and matching across locations.

Develops and optimizes excursion prevention systems for equipment and processes, improving operational stability and reducing risk.

Identifies, investigates, and resolves equipment and process discrepancies to maintain manufacturing excellence.

During factory ramp-ups, leads equipment installation, conversion, and qualification activities to ensure tools are deployed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all quality and matching requirements, including design specifications, Safety Level 1 and Supplier Safety milestones, Intel qualification standards, and manufacturing readiness processes.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with semiconductor device fabrication.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and process control methodologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-125,660.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
