Position Title: Field Engineer

Position Summary/Job Description
As a Field Engineer, you will be essential to supporting both our on-site operations and our unmanned remote operations for hydraulic fracturing and pipeline diagnostics of our cutting-edge Controlled Acoustic technologies. Your primary responsibilities will be assessing field data and analyzing data at the field level as the the company's aims is to transition to fully remote operations. You will be serving as a liaison for Seismos, and coordinating internal goals and objectives to guarantee the highest level of client satisfaction. This position serves as an entry level role within the company, offering potential for development and transfer to departments aligned with the candidate's interests. We value engineer's growth and encourage their involvement in different branches of the company to explore their professional interests and eventually contribute the most significant value to our organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site equipment and software installation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and conduct maintenance and repairs to equipment as needed. You will collaborate with the engineering team to minimize equipment downtime and maintenance requirements.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner to properly represent the company and ensure seamless communication and project execution with clients.
  • Process field data, prepare comprehensive field reports, and oversee the operations of all computer and physical systems while on-site to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of various projects and the overall advancement of the company.

Education & Experience (knowledge, skills and abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Up to three years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment & Travel
  • Work performed in both an office environment and a remote external environment. Exposure to chemicals, weather and industrial hazards.
