Job Summary
Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a dependable Sales Representative. This is an entry level position in which an individual will begin their learning journey of the metal service center industry. The individual will gain exposure by learning all aspects of raw material sales, fabrication sales, and outside sales. This includes quoting, pricing, orders, inventory management, and front-line communication with customers and vendors, all while coordinating with all other departments to successfully serve our customers.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $43,000/yr

Job Function
Learn the functions of all aspects of the sales team- Inside Sales, Fabrication Sales, Outside Sales.

โ€ข Serve as the primary contact for accounts.
โ€ข Field inbound calls/emails from customers
โ€ข Make outbound calls/emails to current and prospective customers.
โ€ข Quote pricing and lead time, communicate expectations with the customer.
โ€ข Manage orders both internally and externally.
โ€ข Daily coordination with all departments at CPS to ensure customer satisfaction.
โ€ข Build relationships with customer base.
Required Skills
โ€ข Valid driver's license - required.
โ€ข No relevant experience required; will receive on-the-job training.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) - required.
โ€ข Basic measurement and arithmetic skills, including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight to perform basic math computations correctly - required.
