RK&K's Construction Engineering Inspection and Construction Management Division is hiring a CEI Inspector to join our team in the Knoxville/Tri-Cities TN area. As a CEI Inspector with RK&K you will strengthen our Construction Engineering and Inspection team while performing routine inspections on projects including highway, bridge, design/design-build projects. Opportunities for growth and training into construction management and office engineering careers.

- Provide construction management support, including inspection, testing, and monitoring of construction ensure compliance with contract documents
- Fully engage in solving intermediate problems to provide evaluation and sound solutions
- Monitor the activities of other inspectors
- Ability to communicate effectively across different platforms with project management, clients, stakeholders, and contractors
- Interface with clients, state and federal agencies, and other engineering disciplines on construction projects
- Recordkeeping, materials testing, and reporting as required
- Must possess high integrity and ethics in all aspects of dealing with clients, subconsultants, and peers

- Three (3) + years of progressive experience in roadway and structures construction
- Working knowledge of the principles and practices of civil engineering and construction methods, materials, and equipment.
