YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR Engineering Technician

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our engineering team. In this full-time entry-level Engineering Technician role, you will observe public works construction to ensure compliance with established standards. Responsibilities include completing daily inspection reports and project documentation, meeting regularly with the project manager, and communicating with the public as needed.

When not inspecting, you'll assist project managers with engineering data collection, basic design development, and computerized drafting under an engineer's guidance. Duties include preparing computations, estimating quantities, and supporting project planning and design through analysis of reports, maps, and drawings. You'll follow established instructions and work under direct supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • An Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a closely related field
  • Relevant coursework, internships, or hands-on experience will be considered in place of formal education
  • 0 - 3 years of related work experience within the engineering sector
  • Experience with AutoCAD or ESRI software is a plus
