Are you one of the countless entry level technicians that go to work 5 or more days a week without a plan, proper training, or road map to becoming a highly skilled technician?

At Beach Ford we provide everything needed to grow and make fixing cars and trucks not just a passion but a career.

To start with we are family owned and operated, with managers and owners that truly care about the success of all up and coming and tenure technicians. At Beach Ford we are in the middle of construction on a new state-of-the-art 55000 square foot shop to expand the capacity and range of the vehicles that come through the service department. Our current shop is also 55000 square feet and houses over 70 techs with 55 stalls/lifts.

Beach Ford is invested in making service easier and more convenient for customers, so we have 5 mobile service vehicles capable of handling basic maintenance and 90% of all recalls that have come out in the past 3 years.

With this newfound growth there are countless opportunities for a quick service technician to branch off, grow, and become great.

1-3 years’ experience in a automotive program or shop preferred

The responsibilities of a Quick Service Technician, often referred to as a Quick Lube Technician, typically include:

1. Performing vehicle multi-point inspections: Quick Service Technicians are responsible for inspecting vehicles to identify any issues or maintenance needs. This may include checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and other essential components.

2. Changing oil and filters: Quick Service Technicians are trained to perform oil changes and replace oil filters efficiently and accurately. They must follow specific procedures and guidelines to ensure that the oil change is done correctly.

3. Performing basic maintenance tasks: In addition to oil changes, Quick Service Technicians may perform other basic maintenance tasks, such as checking and replacing air filters, replacing wiper blades, and performing tire rotations.

4. Providing customer service: Quick Service Technicians interact with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide recommendations for vehicle maintenance. They must possess good communication skills and provide excellent customer service.

5. Documenting service records: Quick Service Technicians are responsible for documenting the services performed on each vehicle accurately. This includes recording the type of service, parts replaced, and any additional recommendations for future maintenance.
