You will lead and be accountable for preparing Arena Engagement Contracts and other legal

documents for Domestic engagements and rehearsals and providing research support and

analysis to the department.

The ideal candidate has a great attention to detail, is adaptable to changing deadlines and

priorities, and possesses time management skills.

Essential Functions

1. Contract Preparation & Documentation Oversee the preparation, review, editing, and documentation of assigned contracts, addendums, amendments, correspondence, and other legal documents. Maintain and file all documentation in the appropriate system for accuracy and accessibility.

2. Contract Analysis & Issue Resolution Collect, compile, and analyze the history of contract negotiations, settlements, financial issues, and operational matters. Prepare assigned contracts based on deal points provided and oversee the full contract process through completion. Investigate and report potential contract issues while recommending solutions or courses of action.

3. Engagement Information System Management Input and monitor itineraries, contract details, and venue attributes in the engagement information system. Ensure timely updates and accuracy of all engagement-related data.

4. Contract Compliance & Collaboration  Review revisions made to standard contract language and amendments proposed by arena management. Collaborate with the Booking Director, Contracts Director, in-house counsel, and/or Risk Management to ensure compliance. Offer proactive solutions to address risks or deviations in contract terms.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Gather data, monitor progress, and update reports to track contract status from initiation to final distribution. Keep detailed records of changes to contract language. Manage special projects that improve efficiency and effectiveness of the contracting process.

Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent GED. Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or tech school preferred.

2. 1 year of experience handling contractual documents

3. Oriented: Reviews contracts and documents with precision, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with requirements.

4. Rule Follower: Adheres to policies and procedures, following contract and legal standards to reduce risk and maintain consistency.

5. Service Mindset: Focuses on supporting stakeholders with solutions that balance company interests and relationships.

6. Patient: Remains calm and steady through complex negotiations and review cycles, maintaining professionalism.
