We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

Qualified candidates will join our team at our headquarters in Centennial, CO. This role will be hybrid (3 days in-office) after in-office training.


As a Staff Accountant (Entry-Level), you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting key business operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to take ownership of financial processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

  • Maintain the general ledger by reconciling accounts, reviewing financial transactions, and preparing adjusting journal entries to ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations. 

  • Analyze journal entries, accruals, and adjustments before finalizing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for both internal and external reporting, gathering and interpreting data to provide meaningful insights for leadership. 

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements, actively identifying areas for process improvement and increased efficiency. 

  • Contribute to fixed asset management, maintaining accurate records, assigning depreciation methods, and determining useful asset life in compliance with federal tax guidelines. 

  • Accurately record and process semimonthly payroll journal entries, ensuring proper allocation across departments and cost centers. 

  • Assist in accounts payable processing, including vendor reconciliations, expense tracking, and compliance with company purchasing policies. 

  • Conduct credit card reconciliations, verifying transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. 

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and ensuring all accounts are properly maintained in accordance with GAAP. 

  • Support audit and tax preparation efforts by gathering documentation, preparing reconciliations, and responding to auditor requests. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives. 

  • Proactively seek opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve accuracy, and enhance financial reporting. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 

  • Strong foundation in GAAP, tax principles, and financial reporting standards. 

  • 0-2 years of accounting experience preferred, including internships or relevant coursework in financial reporting and analysis. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling. 

  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems. 

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to identify financial trends and discrepancies. 

  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. 

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Adaptability to changing business needs, with a proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
